PRESS WHEELS
PRESS WHEELS
Series KS Helical Press Wheel
This press wheel is designed for the best possible crushing and leveling of soil with the top layer compaction and weed combing after a pass of the BDM disk harrow. It is used as a part of the tool in both the free and supported (additionally reinforced) versions.
Series KP Slatted Press Wheel
This press wheel is designed for soil leveling and crushing both after BDM disk harrows and after PCh chisel plows or KR deep tillage cultivators. These wheels are used on tools primarily for on the treatment of excessively moist soils in both the free and supported (additionally reinforced) versions.
The slatted and helical slatted wheels manufactured by BDT-AGRO are designed so that a bar enters into the soil in a near-vertical orientation, and leaves the soil nearly horizontally. As a result, it digs, cuts ridges and levels the field surface properly after the tool passage.
When treating loose soil, for instance in tillage operations, when the wheels fall through and are clogged with the soil, the wheels shall be turned 180°. In this case, the bar will be laid down on the soil horizontally, and moved out of the soil vertically, thereby increasing the wheel support surface; the wheel will grab less soil, and its clogging will be reduced.
Series KK Disk Roller
Series KZ Toothed Roller
This roller is designed for leveling and crushing of large soil lumps after PCh chisel plows or KR deep tillage cultivators. It is used as a part of the tool in the supported version.
Helical Press WheelThis press wheel is designed for soil mixing and pre-seed soil leveling after A-blades or disks, weed combing out and soil preparation for seeding. It is used in KSO and KShU disk harrows and cultivators in both the single and double row (modular) versions. |
Slatted and Helical Press WheelThis press wheel is designed for pre-seed soil leveling after helical press wheels, the cutting of small soil lumps and the compaction of the top layer of soil in order to ensure the best conditions required to achieve uniform seedlings. The slatted and helical press wheel operates as follows. As the press wheel turns, each slat enters the soil edge-on at an angle close to 90°, and then rotates relative to the surface of the field. Thus, each slat tosses soil upward in a direction opposite to the direction of movement, with only the ridge soil being moved by the slats. The press wheel will simply not touch the furrows. However, since each of the slats is helical, the soil will be tossed up not only backwards, but to the side as well (towards the adjacent furrow). Thus, the quality of the field micro-terrain leveling is improved. This type of wheel is used in KSO and KShU disk harrows and cultivators (both the single-row and the double-row (modular) versions). The slatted and helical slatted wheels manufactured by BDT-AGRO are designed so that a bar enters into the soil in a near-vertical orientation, and leaves the soil nearly horizontally. DOUBLE PRESS WHEEL (helical and helical-slatted))
The slatted and slatted/helical press wheels manufactured by BDT-AGRO are designed so that the slat penetrates the soil nearly vertically, and leaves the soil nearly horizontally. As a result, the wheels provide good excavation, ridge cutting and field surface leveling after the tool makes a pass.
When operating in loose soil (for example, preparing plowed land), if the wheels sink in the soil and become packed with dirt, they should be turned 180°. In this case, the slats will lay flat on the ground and leave the ground vertically. This increases the load-bearing area of the wheel and the wheel itself will grab less soil and, therefore, be less prone to clogging.
DOUBLE PRESS WHEEL (helical-slatted)
The slatted and slatted/helical press wheels manufactured by BDT-AGRO are designed so that the slat penetrates the soil nearly vertically, and leaves the soil nearly horizontally. As a result, the wheels provide good excavation, ridge cutting and field surface leveling after the tool makes a pass.

Series KPK Rod Press Wheel
This press wheel is designed for pre-seed soil leveling after A-blades, for removal of weeds during the “white thread” stage, and in preparing the soil bed for seeding. This wheel is used in KSO cultivators (two-row (modular) version), mostly in the preparation of soil for sugar beet planting.
